Nunthorpe Academy Drama Department Proudly Presents, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’!

Nunthorpe Academy’s 2023 musical is none other than ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ and will be aiming to scare, excite and entertain audiences for three nights from Monday 27th through to Wednesday 29th March 2023.

Meek flower shop assistant, Seymour, pines for co-worker, Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey’s boyfriend, Orin, to the plant after Orin’s accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant…

Performed by students in years eight to thirteen from Nunthorpe Academy and Sixth Form, this show really isn’t one to miss. Open to members of the academy and wider community, we look forward to seeing as many people there as possible. Suitable for children aged 11+.
